WHAT: The public is invited to an inspiring, interactive session at the 2025 Black Women’s Expo titled “Black Women in Water: Making Waves, Changing Tides.” MWRD President Kari K. Steele will lead the session which will feature MWRD Commissioner Yumeka Brown, MWRD Commissioner Precious Brady-Davis and MWRD Principal Civil Engineer Lolita Thompson

In addition to hearing from dynamic Black women leaders, participants can enjoy interactive activities and giveaways. 

This inspiring session highlights careers in water, engineering, and public service, aiming to spark the next generation of leaders.
