Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago

At approximately 4 p.m., we began reversing to the lake at the Chicago River locks downtown. We have far exceeded the previous record for July 2 rainfall which was two inches. Final numbers are not in yet, but some areas have exceeded five inches of rain already today.
