The MWRD email domain is “mwrd.org” and emails from MWRD staff will only come from emails using that domain.

MWRD will never ask you to pay permit fees by wire transfer, cryptocurrency, gift card, or peer-to-peer app (Zelle, Venmo, Cash App), and will never request your credit card information by email. All payments should be made through the “Make Payment” link on the MWRD website or by business check addressed to the METROPOLITAN WATER RECLAMATION DISTRICT OF GREATER CHICAGO.
