At 11 a.m. on August 20, the Village of River Grove and MWRD will hold a ribbon‑cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the new green permeable parking lot at 2621 N. Thatcher Ave., River Grove.  The project replaces the former impervious lot with permeable pavers designed to reduce local flooding and demonstrate the benefits of green infrastructure.
