The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago is in the process of amending the Watershed Management Ordinance (WMO), which regulates development within Cook County and sewer construction within the MWRD's service area. 
Beginning July 8, 2024, we will be seeking input from the public on the proposed amendment, which is outlined in the redlined Draft Amendment. The current version of the WMO and an annotated Draft Amendment can be accessed here:

Public meetings

Two public meetings to discuss the proposed changes will be held virtually at 10:00 a.m. on July 12, 2024, and July 19, 2024. The links to the virtual meetings can be accessed here:
