At 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, the MWRD will join officials from the City of Countryside for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of green infrastructure improvements at Larry Robb Park at 10701 E. 5th Ave. The project included the installation of two rain gardens and construction of a permeable parking lot. The project is expected to capture over 28,000 gallons of stormwater per rain event.
