Local and state leaders are invited to join the MWRD and Illinois Dept. of Natural Resources on Wed., November 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the 2nd annual Government to Government Workshop to be held at the Town of Cicero Community Center, 4926 W. 23^rd St., Cicero. This workshop is designed to strengthen intergovernmental coordination across local, county, and state agencies. Participants will discuss communication protocols, points of contact, and procedures to follow before, during and after flooding events to enhance community preparedness and response. Other participants  include representatives from the IL Dept. of Public Health, IL EPA, IL Dept. of Insurance, IL Emergency Management Agency, Cook County Emergency Management, and more.
