Each year our Sustainability Summit showcases best management practices for utilizing MWRD biosolids and compost in addition to management stormwater. We honor those individuals and organizations for Sustainable Landscaping and for Beneficial Use of Exceptional Quality (EQ) Biosolids and Biosolids Compost. Exceptional Quality biosolids and biosolids compost are a product of the MWRD’s water treatment process that are used as soil amendments and sustainable alternative to other materials. This year’s Sustainability Summit takes place on October 22 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Stickney Water Reclamation Plant, Lue-Hing R&D Complex, 6001 West Pershing Road, Cicero, IL 60804.

Registration for the 2019 Sustainability Summit is now closed.
