The Procurement and Materials Management Department issues many contracts during the year to purchase a wide range of materials, services and equipment for MWRD.

The MWRD owns property along the Chicago Area Waterway System throughout the region. We lease property not currently needed for our corporate purposes for commercial and industrial use and for parks and green space.
