PRESENTATIONS/SPEAKERS
Kindergarten through College-aged students
The MWRD’s educational outreach program targets all ages and explains what we do to protect Lake Michigan (our water supply source), the environment, and the health of the communities we serve and beyond.
Students and teachers in grades K-12 can enjoy a lively interactive presentation by one of our education specialists who will teach you all about the work of the MWRD, including how we treat wastewater, manage stormwater and recover valuable resources. You’ll also learn how we’re improving water quality throughout the region and beyond. Our specialist can even connect you to other MWRD experts in various fields to speak to your group as well.
